About Me
I customize treatment to best serve my clients’ unique needs. I believe effective therapy begins with the right match and provide a collaborative, safe, and non judgmental space. I approach my clinical work through an integrative perspective, utilizing a psychodynamic (insight-oriented) lens and drawing from my training in other evidence-based methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based therapy.

I am a native New Yorker and obtained my bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College and doctoral degree from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University. Throughout my career I have worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, college counseling centers, community mental health clinics, and private and public schools in the New York area. I completed my postdoctoral fellowship at New York University where I received specialized training in Eating Disorders.

I believe it is imperative to be attuned to the role of culture, race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, and sexual orientation in understanding who you are. As such, my practice is informed by an understanding of our intersectionality and this perspective is integrated into every aspect of our work together.
